Find A Grave has been a blessing in my genealogical quest, and an unexpected place to find new friends!
I hope that the information from the stones and the photos I have added will be helpful to someone else who is searching for information about their loved ones. I am thankful for all the volunteers who have done likewise.
Regarding memorials:
I recently read on another member's bio that using just an initial of a person's middle name with no period after it will increase the likelihood of the memorial search finding the person one is looking for. Originally, I did not put periods after the middle initial because back in 2009 when I entered a lot of memorials for a certain cemetery, FindAGrave supplied a spreadsheet to do that on (I don't know if they still do), and it required that the middle initial NOT have a period after it. I say this because I have had edit requests for periods to be added after middle initials. Perhaps, if people knew the search option works better without the period, they would not ask for the period to be added.
