I grew up hearing nearly everyone up and down the road, at church, at school was my cousin. It was quite confusing so after college I began pouring over old papers in closets and the attic to discover if this was fact or fiction. That was in the mid 1970s and I am still at it.
I discovered "Find a Grave" 15 years ago and am now obsessed with this site. It combines genealogy with walking with gardening and is the best therapy ever. Easily four generations of my family have walked cemeteries with me over the years from my late grandfather down to my husband and children. We don't "get 'em all" but we benefit from every attempt.
