Hi. I've been doing genealogy for about 30 years now (with a break in between to focus on music endeavors).
A cousin and I started the Yahoo Group MaineGenealogy list which offers some databases and files. After he passed, another cousin took over for him and she aided in transitioning the group onto Facebook. ! It's a great group of people. Many of those that live on Maine in the list volunteer their time and energy for the others. Everyone is very helpful sharing their knowledge. It consists of newbies to professional genealogists.
