Bio
Currently she's an independent scholar researching the Jewish community in late-19th century Fort Scott and the role of the prominent Jewish merchants in Fort Scott's development & prosperity. She is the curator of the "Our Jewish Past" photo exhibit in the lobby of the Lowell Milken Center in historic downtown Fort Scott. For more informaton, please visit www.OurJewishPast.org.
In addition to the «FORT SCOTT: OUR JEWISH PAST» project, she is also doing genealogical research on her own and her husband's families. She is active in the D.A.R.
The «FS:OJP» project began with her interest in Pine Lawn Jewish Cemetery, which will come as no surprise to those who know her well. As a university Spanish instructor, her research speciality was Mexico's Día de los Muertos. Her paternal grandfather once owned the Boulder Monument shop and Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder, Colorado, so perhaps her interest in cemeteries is genetic.

To knowingly enter false information, willfully refuse to remove or correct it, and then later try to claim it was an innocent mistake... requires a complete lack of integrity.
