David P. Weiss, age 59 of St. Paul, MN, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. David was born the son of C. John and H. Grace (Ellis) Weiss on September 7, 1952 in New Ulm, MN. He was a graduate of Springfield High School and the University of St. Thomas. David worked as a Paramedic for many years. Currently he was working for DSS Renovations. He enjoyed athletic training, golf, and hunting. He was a Clint Eastwood fan, and loved the TV series Bonanza. David followed and supported the Catholic missions in California founded by Fr. Junipero Serra. He was very committed to his family, making sure that he did whatever he could for them. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Weiss; and an infant brother, Joseph Weiss.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11 am at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in River Falls, WI. Visitation was also Saturday from 10-11 am at the church. Interment was in St. Raphael's Catholic Cemetery in Springfield, MN. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
