Tracking categories
This page lists tracking categories which are automatically populated by the MediaWiki software. Their names can be changed by altering the relevant system messages in the MediaWiki namespace.

| Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls (empty) | duplicate-args-category | The page contains template calls that use duplicates of arguments, such as {{foo|bar=1|bar=2}} or {{foo|bar|1=baz}}. |
| Pages where expansion depth is exceeded (empty) | expansion-depth-exceeded-category | The page exceeds the maximum expansion depth. |
| Pages with too many expensive parser function calls (empty) | expensive-parserfunction-category | The page uses too many expensive parser functions (like #ifexist). See Manual:$wgExpensiveParserFunctionLimit. |
| Hidden categories (25 C) | hidden-category-category | The category contains __HIDDENCAT__ in its page content, which prevents it from showing up in the category links box on pages by default. |
| Indexed pages (3 P) | index-category | The page has a __INDEX__ on it (and is in a namespace where that flag is allowed), and hence is indexed by robots where it normally wouldn't be. |
| Pages where node count is exceeded (empty) | node-count-exceeded-category | The page exceeds the maximum node count. |
| Noindexed pages (1,252 P) | noindex-category | The page is not indexed by robots because it has the magic word __NOINDEX__ on it and is in a namespace where that flag is allowed. |
| Pages with non-numeric formatnum arguments (empty) | nonnumeric-formatnum | The page contains a non-numeric argument to the formatnum parser function. |
| Pages containing omitted template arguments (empty) | post-expand-template-argument-category | The page is bigger than $wgMaxArticleSize after expanding a template argument (something in triple braces, like {{{Foo}}}). |
| Pages where template include size is exceeded (1 P) | post-expand-template-inclusion-category | The page size is bigger than $wgMaxArticleSize after expanding all the templates, so some templates were not expanded. |
| Pages with ignored display titles (empty) | restricted-displaytitle-ignored | The page has an ignored {{DISPLAYTITLE}} because it is not equivalent to the page's actual title. |
| Pages which use = as a template (empty) | template-equals-category | The page contains {{=}} but on this wiki that does not expand to =. This usage is deprecated; a future MediaWiki version will implement {{=}} as a parser function. |
| Pages with template loops (empty) | template-loop-category | The page contains a template loop, ie. a template which calls itself recursively. |
| Pages where the unstrip depth limit is exceeded (empty) | unstrip-depth-category | The page exceeds the unstrip depth limit. |
| Pages where the unstrip size limit is exceeded (empty) | unstrip-size-category | The page exceeds the unstrip size limit. |
| Pages with invalid language codes (empty) | bad-language-code-category | The page contains a {{#dir}} with an invalid language code. |
| Pages with invalid behavior switches (empty) | bad-double-underscore-category | The page contains a invalid localized behavior switch. Valid localizations begin and end with double underscores. |
| Pages with image sizes containing extra px (empty) | double-px-category | The page contains an image whose size contains an extra px suffix, like 100pxpx. |
| Pages where media limit was reached (empty) | media-limit-reached | The page contains too many media and some of them are not rendered because of that. |
| Pages using the EasyTimeline extension (2 P) | timeline-tracking-category | The page includes a <timeline> tag |
| Pages using the WikiHiero extension (empty) | wikihiero-usage-tracking-category | This category is automatically added to pages that use WikiHiero extension |
| Pages with reference errors (empty) | cite-tracking-category-cite-error | Pages in this category have errors in the usage of references tags. |
| Pages that use sub-references (empty) | cite-tracking-category-ref-details | Pages in this category use the "details" attribute of the <ref> tag. |
| Pages with syntax highlighting errors (2 P) | syntaxhighlight-error-category | There was an error when attempting to highlight code included on the page. |
| Pages using deprecated enclose attributes (empty) | syntaxhighlight-enclose-category | The syntaxhighlighting on the page uses deprecated enclose syntax. |
| Pages using deprecated source tags (empty) | syntaxhighlight-source-category | The syntaxhighlighting on the page uses deprecated source tags. |
| Pages transcluding nonexistent sections (empty) | lst-invalid-section-category | The page uses a #lst or #lsth parser function that references a section that doesn't exist on the given page. |
| TemplateStyles stylesheets with errors (empty) | templatestyles-stylesheet-error-category | The TemplateStyles stylesheet has an error. |
| Pages with TemplateStyles errors (empty) | templatestyles-page-error-category | There was an error when processing a <templatestyles/> tag on the page. |
| MassMessage delivery lists (empty) | massmessage-list-category | The page is a delivery list for the MassMessage extension. |
| Files with no machine-readable license (1,097 F) | commonsmetadata-trackingcategory-no-license | The file does not have any machine-readable license template. |
| Files with no machine-readable description (1,377 F) | commonsmetadata-trackingcategory-no-description | The file does not have a machine-readable information template, or its description field is not filled out. |
| Files with no machine-readable author (1,379 F) | commonsmetadata-trackingcategory-no-author | The file does not have a machine-readable information template, or its author field is not filled out. |
