Student Testimonials

Chris

Architecture Studies major

“Before my first year, I received an email from the dean of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, basically saying that there was a scholarship available to me and it came with an internship. It’s been smooth sailing from there.”

Jayden

Social Welfare PhD

“This is my eighth year in school post-high school and if I didn’t have all the support, especially financial support, from UWM I don’t think it would have been possible. The research assistantship, the teaching assistantship, even a small stipend — it matters.”

Guinevere

Design & Visual Communications major

“I found my campus job online through Handshake, which is UWM’s job search platform. Working in Union Marketing as a designer and working directly with campus clients, I don’t know where my skills would be without this job.”
