Create videos with templates

Create videos using YouTube Create’s template feature. YouTube Create templates are ready-made, pre-packaged video structures that help you quickly and easily create videos with style categories such as cooking, travel, and fashion. The templates feature gives you full flexibility and customization within the YouTube Create app so you can infuse your personal style to your videos without the limitations of traditional template tools.

YouTube Create is available on Android phones that have at least 4G RAM. This app may be available on other devices in the future.

Create videos with templates

1. In the YouTube Create app, scroll through the homepage to browse all the different templates.
2. Tap View all templates to view all the templates in a category.
3. Once you’ve found a template you like, tap Use Template.
4. Next, from your gallery, choose photos, videos, or previously imported media to add to your project.
   • Note: Tap the Arrow next to Gallery at the top of the screen to import media from other apps on your device.
5. Tap Import to add photos and videos to your project.
6. View the template preview with the imported media.
7. Tap Slip edit to pick the correct portion of clips to be included in the template.
8. Tap Export or go to the YouTube Create Editor to use the full suite of editing tools.
9. Tap Upload after export to upload the completed video to YouTube.
