Apply filters, effects, and color correct your videos

After you’ve created a project, enhance your videos using YouTube Create’s editing tools. Enhance visual elements in your video with color adjustments, effects, and filters.

YouTube Create is available on Android phones that have at least 4GB RAM in all countries listed below. It is currently only available on iPhone in Canada (iPhone XR and newer models running on iOS 17 or later). This app may be available in more countries/regions in the future.

​Apply filters to your videos

  1. Open a project and tap to select the video clip you’d like to edit.
  2. From the toolbar, tap Filters .
  3. Browse and select a preset filter from the options. You can use the slider to change the filter intensity.
  4. Tap Done to apply the filter to your video.

Add effects to your videos

  1. Open a project and tap to select the video clip you’d like to edit.
  2. From the toolbar, tap Effects .
  3. Browse and select a video effect from the options.
  4. Tap Done to apply the effect to your video.

Adjust color within your videos

  1. Open a project and tap to select the video clip you’d like to edit.
  2. From the toolbar, tap Adjust .
  3. Use color correction options to change features, like video contrast, saturation, and tint. You can use the slider within each option to change the intensity.
  4. Tap Done to apply adjustments to your video.
