Recycle your devices
Before you recycle your devices, make sure to do a factory reset and clear your data to protect your personal info. Check with your manufacturer for data removal instructions.

Recycle your device by mail
You can request shipping at no additional charge. Our third-party recycling partner will send a postage-paid shipping label to your inbox. To recycle by mail:
- Ask for a shipping label.
- US: Request a shipping label from Reverse Logistics Group (RLG).
- Rest of the world: Request a shipping label from ERI.
- Optional: Check with your manufacturer for data removal instructions.
- Place your device in a sturdy box.
- Attach the label to the box.
- Follow the shipping instructions.
- You can also drop the package off at a collection site near you.
- Send your eligible electronic device for responsible recycling.
Drop off your device at a local recycler
Check for businesses that offer recycling drop-off services with keywords like "electronics recycling near me" in Search or Google Maps.

Additional recycling information for US residents
Mail your devices to be recycledFor Google users, Google offers a mail-back program through its partner, RLG, at no cost. To use the mail-back program:
- Request a shipping label from RLG.
- After you receive the label, safely pack your product.
- Attach the label to the box.
- Send your eligible electronic devices for responsible recycling.
To find local collection sites in certain states, go to the RLG website.
Google offers a mail-back program through its partner, Reverse Logistics Group Americas, Inc. (RLGA), which allows Google’s customers to return Google-branded products and any other manufacturer brand on a one-to-one basis with the purchase of the same type of equipment for recycling at no charge. To use the mail-back program:
- Request a shipping label at no charge from RLG.
- After you receive the label, safely pack your product.
- Attach the label to the box.
- Send your eligible electronic device for responsible recycling.
