Scan documents with your Pixel phone or tablet

You can use your Pixel phone or tablet to make a digital copy of a physical document.

Scan a document with your Camera app

On your Pixel phone or tablet, open your Google Camera app .
Point your device’s camera at a document. Wait for the "Scan document" prompt to appear.
Tap Scan document.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
To clean any part of the document, at the bottom, tap Clean and then Apply.
To save the document, at the top right, tap Done and then Select a Save, Download, or Share option.

On your Pixel phone or tablet, tap Drive Google Drive icon.
To scan a document, at the bottom right, select an option:
- Tap Plus and then Scan Scan.
- Tap Camera .
Point your device’s camera at a document. Wait for the "Scan document" prompt to appear.
Tap Scan document.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
To clean any part of the document, at the bottom, tap Clean and then Apply.
To save the document, at the top right, tap Done and then Select a Save, Download, or Share option.
