- All participants on any device can find the timer once it’s started.
- To join a meeting on your computer, open Google Meet.
- At the bottom right, click Meeting tools and then Timer.
- Set the time in minutes and seconds.
- To begin the countdown, click Start.
- While the timer is active, you can:
- Pause: Stop the timer temporarily.
- Resume: Resume a paused timer.
- Extend: To add one minute, click Add and the total time on the timer will increase.
- While the timer is active, you can:
- Optional: To turn sound notification on or off, click Alarm .
- This is only available when host controls are disabled.
Tips:
- When the timer reaches zero, you get a sound notification.
- You can manage the timer if host controls are on. If the host controls are off, anyone in the meeting can manage it.
