Canceling your Google Ads account

You can cancel your Google Ads account at any time. After cancelation, your ads will stop serving within 24 hours, and this will accrue an additional charge for serving during those 24 hours. This cost will be reconciled in your next billing cycle. If you have any refundable credit left in your canceled account, you should receive a refund within 4-12 weeks. Learn more about Managing billing after canceling your Google Ads account. You'll need to reactivate your account if you want to use it again in the future. However, you may not be able to reactivate your canceled account after an extended period.

Note: If your Google Ads account has no recorded spend for more than 15 months, it will be considered inactive and automatically canceled. Learn more About account cancelation.
