Find solutions to common problems
- Find or recover a file: If you can't find a file, search for it in Google Drive. If you think you deleted the file, you can recover it from:
- Your Google Drive trash: To restore a file from Drive trash, you must restore it within 30 days before it’s permanently deleted.
- A local device: To recover uploaded files you delete directly from your computer or phone storage, check your device’s Recycle Bin or Trash.
- Google Photos:
- Deleted photos are in the Google Photos Bin for 60 days.
- Google Drive support can't recover photos.
- Get help from the Google Photos Help Center.
- Share files: Learn how to share files and folders.
- Use Drive for desktop: Get help with Drive for desktop.
