Customize transitions between scenes
Important: Learn which Google Account types have access to Google Vids and different Vids features.
Add & customize scene transitions
- On your computer, open a video in Google Vids.
- At the bottom, between two scenes click Transition .
- In the Transitions sidebar, choose a transition type.
- To change the duration of the animation, drag the duration slider.
Tips:
- Transitions cause scenes to overlap in playback.
- To avoid videos or animated objects from appearing during the transition, adjust their timing using object tracks. Learn more about object tracks.
