Use keyboard shortcuts in Google Calendar
When you turn on keyboard shortcuts, you can press keys to make changes to your Google Calendar and quickly navigate to certain pages.
Turn on keyboard shortcuts
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- In the top right corner, click Settings Settings and then Settings.
- Check the box next to "Enable keyboard shortcuts."
- At the bottom of the page, click Save.

After you turn on keyboard shortcuts, you can see all the shortcuts you can use by typing a question mark ?.

You can now use Keep and Tasks in a side panel while using Calendar. To go to the side panel, use these shortcuts:
- Windows: Ctrl + Alt + . (period) or Ctrl + Alt + , (comma)
- Chromebook: Alt + Shift + . (period) or Alt + Shift + , (comma)
- Mac: ⌘ + Option + . (period) or ⌘ + Option + , (comma)
