In September 2025, Google will update the Cryptocurrencies and related products policy to allow the promotion of Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Wallets in Argentina.
The following country-specifics will be added to the Cryptocurrencies and related products policy page:
Argentina (Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Software Wallets)
Google allows ads promoting cryptocurrency exchanges and software wallets targeting Argentina as long as the advertiser is listed under the Registry of Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) via the National Securities Commission (Comisión Nacional de Valores). Any other local legal requirements must also be complied with.
Advertisers must also be certified with Google.
Argentina (Hardware Wallets)
Google allows ads promoting hardware wallets that are designed to hold the private keys of cryptocurrencies, NFTS, or other crypto-based assets, but do not offer additional services such as purchasing, selling, exchanging, or trading assets. Any other local legal requirements must also be complied with.
Advertisers must also be certified with Google.
