On June 18, 2025, Google Ads will amend the application process for licensed gambling app operators in Brazil. This update will allow eligible advertisers to promote their apps, provided they demonstrate a clear connection between their app, their valid license, and the corresponding web domain.

To advertise on Google Ads in Brazil, all online gambling operators must hold a valid license from the relevant Brazilian gambling authority, as is outlined in the Gambling and games policy. In addition, to advertise apps, the operator must include on the domain listed on its official register entry a prominent and functional link that connects it to the app listing on the App Store or Play Store.

Advertisers must apply for certification. As part of the application, advertisers will need to submit comprehensive app details. Applications that don't meet the requirements will not be certified.
