In July 2023, Google will update the Financial products and services policy to clarify the scope and requirements for the advertisement of debt services.

Beginning July 28, 2023, advertisers offering debt services targeting Spain may advertise those products and services when they meet the following requirements and are certified by Google.

Spain (Debt Services)

Google allows ads promoting debt services targeting Spain, as long as the advertiser and provider of these services is registered as an Insolvency Administrator by the Ministry of Justice. Other local legal requirements must also be met.

Advertisers must also be certified with Google.

Violations of this policy will not lead to immediate account suspension without prior warning. A warning will be issued, at least 7 days, prior to any suspension of your account.
