Health Care and Medicines: HIV tests, HGH, DHEA, Melatonin
Google provides translated versions of the Advertising Policies Help Center, though they're not meant to change the content of the policies. The English version is the official language used to enforce Google Ads policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.
The Google Ads policy on health care and medicines will change around early July 2011. The policy is changing to prohibit the promotion of certain home HIV tests and Human Growth Hormone (HGH) products globally. In addition, the policy is changing to allow the promotion of DHEA and Melatonin in Canada. We made these decisions for legal reasons. We'll be sending notifications to affected advertisers. After the new policy goes into effect, the policy description will be updated to reflect this change.
