Update to the Political Content Policy (June 2021)

In June 2021, Google will update the Political content policy pertaining to State and local election ads in the United States.
Ads related to ballot measures and candidates for state elections in New Jersey and Nevada will be permitted.
Ads related to ballot measures and candidates for local elections in New Jersey and Nevada will remain prohibited.
Advertisers wishing to run state election ads in New Jersey and/or Nevada must be verified by Google. Learn how to apply for verification.
In addition, applicable New Jersey advertisers must submit a copy of the statement of registration required to be filed with the Election Law Enforcement Commission before running any ads.
