Purchase Education Plus licenses directly from the Admin console
You can now get Education Plus licenses directly from the Google Admin console. This option is only available for organizations needing fewer than 1,000 licenses.
How to request Education Plus licenses
- Sign in to your Google Admin console.
- Go to Menu > Billing > Get more services.
- On the left, click Google Workspace for Education.
- In Education Plus, click Get Started.
- Note: If you currently have more than 1,000 Fundamentals licenses assigned to users in your institution, you will not be able to proceed.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your order request.
Once you submit your request, your Education Plus licenses are immediately available for assignment.
What is Education Plus?
Education Plus is a comprehensive package of tools and features designed to enhance teaching and learning. It builds upon the core Google Workspace for Education suite by adding advanced security features, enhanced support, and tools for deeper data analysis.
Who can use this feature?
Google Workspace for Education customers can request Education Plus licenses directly in the Admin console if they:
- Need fewer than 1,000 licenses
- Are not currently working with a reseller for Workspace services
If you need more than 1,000 licenses or prefer to work with a reseller, you can still purchase Education Plus through your existing reseller agreement, or Contact Sales.
What if I buy fewer Education Plus licenses than I have Fundamentals licenses?
If you buy Education Plus licenses, the number of Fundamentals licenses you have will automatically decrease to match the number of Education Plus licenses you purchase.
