Started in 8-bit world with TRS-80 at home and CP/M on a custom S-100 box at work.

Now writing primarily in Java, JavaScript, C#, Python for 64-bit.

Work project is fastest and most robust database drivers on the planet for both relational and non-relational data sources.

Historically my expertise is insurance automation and legacy data formats (EDI: X12, HIPAA, EDIFACT, PADIS, HL7, etc.)

I'm a software fellow at Progress Software Corp., which means my job is split between architecture, mentoring, and just Making Stuff WorkTM.
