everything worked fine but I had to install playwright as follows npm install -g @playwright/[email protected] && npx playwright install --with-deps. Otherwise the node user for some reasons cannot find the browser.

@V The playwright npm package does not include browsers. It only contains: The Playwright client libraries (JavaScript API). Protocol definitions and tooling to interact with browsers. CLI utilities like playwright install and playwright test. npx playwright install should help you out. You can use it --with-deps
