Sep 26, 2014 at 9:32 comment added jreichert Answer is below. But I have two tips anyway for the code above: 1) You should use Marshal.FinalReleaseComObject(excelSheet) instead of using this while loop 2) The row "excelSheet = null;" isn't needed when "excelSheet" is a local variable
