The important thing is your home directory. Set > it to /home/d.tang >> T. Thanks for the quick reply. So I've changed my home directory to /home/d.tang in my passwd file. I copied the .bashrc into my new home directory. But when I restart cygwin, it still doesn't load the .bashrc.
