How to use ssmtp ?

Tino,
Thank you for your tip about Blat.
The following command in cygwin window sends mail:
/cygdrive/h/blat/blat.exe file -t a12@mail.xyz.com
-f sys@rrback -server mail.xyz.com -s "Subject"
