bash: bug in parameter passing

Hi,
Consider the following script:
#test 
echo parameter 1ドル
which is called by this script:
# testparam
echo testparam 1ドル
. test param1
Notice the dot in front of the call of script test.
If you run the last script, say testparam 123
then you will see:
testparam 123
parameter 123
instead of:
testparam 123
parameter param1
I would say that this is a bug.
