cygwin gcc problem

Hello,
I use gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release-2) compiler from cygwin
and get the compiler error:
sorry, not implemented: object size exceeds normal limit for virtual
function
table implementation, recompile all source and use -fhuge-objects
source:
class myclass : public ostream, public streambuf { ... }
Using the flag -fhuge-objects causes link problems. (library is not compiled
with this flag)
On REDHAT linux the same code compiles and run OK.
gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) (There is no sub number)
Any help?
