Q:GCC compile error

Hi, Chris
I appreciate your help.
I searched gcc directory and I can not find any as assembler. Is it a part
of gcc package ?

It means your installation is screwed up and gcc is unable to locate the
as assembler. Check your PATH environment variable and look for any other
GCC environment variables that may be screwing things up.
