OSIDays2011 conference was held on 20-22 November, 2011 at NIMHANS convention center, Bangalore, India. This talk was part of the data days track in the same conference. The audience included developers, DBAs and open source enthusiasts from all over India. The presentation gives overview of the architecture of Postgres-XC highlighting the data, throughput scalability and high availability. This serves a good starter on Postgres-XC for those who have some background in databases with little or no background of PostgreSQL.
