cheme75 Posted 2023年03月08日overall I'm happy I found this - I have an older 2012 autocad I still use on my desktop but this is an ideal CAD to use on my laptop and for general use when I really do not need to power of a full blown 3D CAD. For the most part I just need 2D views for laying out a woodworking project or similar task. As long as I have dwg support, its easy enough to share my plans between PCs - for the most part I'm just doing drafting to enable me to generate construction drawings versus 3D rendering of a final product. This program has proven extremely beneficial and I appreciate the effort to maintain it and improve it. Those like me, now retired can find commercial software hard to justify the expense. These Libre projects an incredibly helpful resource!

spykest Posted 2021年11月07日It's never easy for me to learn how to use new software, and I'd be lying if I said I never got aggravated trying to use LibreCAD, but I have been using it for quite a few years now and have become quite comfortable with it. It takes a while to learn its quirks and how to work within its limitation, (e.g. knowing to do a "print preview" before trying to export a pdf) but I am exceedingly grateful to the quiet geniuses who have made it available to us.
