Hello,
I am trying to upload files in a new wiki installation that I've just put on 
my website. I am computer literate but not very tecchy, so you will have to 
bear with me...
I copied <?plugin Upload ?> on my wiki
homepage and the text field and the Browse and Upload buttons appeared
there, when clicking on browse and selecting a file and then click on
Upload, I get a message "Access denied: please log in to upload files"(see
image atttached wiki.gif) but I am signed in (see image attached wiki02.gif)
unless there is another way of logging in that I can't find...can you help?
I've used wikis before and I know you can do it but don't know how :(

Summary: User preference update message is misleading

When logged in via a PassUser object the update message
returned after changing the user preferences is
misleading. It says "No changes" even though the
database has been updated. 
This is due to it relying on the return value of the
setPreferences method of the PassUser object to return
the number of preferences that were updated. The
current implementation of the PassUser object does not
return anything. 
There is an attached patch which fixes this problem.

on line 453 of Request.php, when output buffering is
not in use this results in an error being raised.

The guessing_lang function makes a reference to a
potentially uninitialised variable ($accept) on line
156 when the users browser does not send an
Accept-Language header (wget is an exampel of a browser
that does not do this). 
The attached patch initialises the $accept variable to

The error handler sets Pragma: no-cache whenever it
handles an error, regardless of whether the error
actually results in an error message being displayed to
the user or not. 
Because there are several minor bugs in the PHPwiki
syntax (which the error handler appears to always
ignore) that cause errors on every page this makes
EVERY page in the wiki uncachable!
The attached patch modifies the error handler to only
set no-cache headers when an error is actually output
to the browser.

When ACL page permissions are disabled PHPwiki 1.3.11p1
reverts to having no authentication at all. 
Even with a configuration file of
ALLOW_ANON_EDIT=FALSE
ALLOW_BOGO_LOGON=TRUE
The wiki will allow anonymous users to edit the wiki
without having to login. 
The fix for this is very simple and is attached to this
bug as a patch. It simply reenables the old method of
authentication when ENABLE_PAGEPERM is false.

Hello,
As I moved from a Windows 2000 to a Windows 2003 
server, I got some problem with the redirect function.
I am running PhpWiki under IIS6.
 (things are working relatively well if we except 
this problem, and a logout problem that I mentionned 
previously).
I use the latest version of PHP 5. (5.12 I believe).
Here is the problem I have:
I have 
DISABLE_HTTP_REDIRECT set to true.
(when I set DISABLE_HTTP_REDIRECT to false the system 
works).
When I update a page, and after I click on the Save 
button, the system never returns.
When I stop the browser and look at the page, I can 
see that my page has been correctly updated.
I spent sometime trying to figure out what was the 
problem (Initially I though about a bug with IIS6 and 
the http redirect, but other tests have shown me that 
http redirect work).
The problem seems to originate in Request.php

Hi, I'm using phpwiki 1.3.11p1 and trying to use MySQL: I got phpwiki 
1.2 working fine, only to discover it didn't support tables...
I get the following, as reported by Marcus Hopwood in October 2005:
