Thread: [Matplotlib-users] Remove backgroundimage

Hi,
Does somebody knows how can I remove a backgroundimage. I set the image with
imshow.

As with most other artists, you should be able to just call remove on the
resulting artist.
e.g.
im = plt.imshow(...)
...
im.remove()
