Spotify Engineering Culture (Part 2) 14 minutes read.
This is the second part of Spotify's engineering culture (video). It's impressive to see how much they're willing to push the company and continue to innovate without finding excuses on why it would never work. I've seen at least 3 more companies with hundreds of engineers that started to use Spotify's Guilds and Tribes to help scale the company. No doubt, they're building a great brand by teaching others practices that worked (or failed) for them.

This email is probably aimed for marketing or sales departments, but I think that this mindset is what fuels great companies. It's a question of choosing your unfair advantage and aligning the team to execute in a way that will get them to win the market.
