What to Expect

Community Partners Program Grants

The highlight of the evening is presenting grant checks to our Community Partners—the local LGBTQ+ organizations that received funding through SF Pride's Community Partners Program.

Watch as we celebrate the incredible work these organizations do year-round:

  • Youth programs providing safe spaces for LGBTQ+ young people
  • Trans support services offering healthcare navigation and advocacy
  • HIV/AIDS organizations providing testing, treatment, and education
  • Arts and culture groups preserving LGBTQ+ history
  • Racial justice initiatives centering QTPOC communities

Parade Awards Ceremony

Recognizing the most outstanding parade contingents from Pride 2026:

  • Best Overall Contingent — For creativity, spirit, and community representation
  • Most Spirited Contingent — For energy and enthusiasm along the route
  • Best Community Organization — For nonprofit and grassroots groups
  • Best Corporate Contingent — For businesses demonstrating authentic allyship
  • Best Youth Contingent — For LGBTQ+ youth groups and organizations
  • Judges' Choice Award — For unique contributions to the parade experience

Awards selected by a panel of community judges during the parade.

Volunteer Recognition

Pride is only possible because of our incredible volunteers. This celebration honors:

  • Volunteer of the Year — Recognizing exceptional dedication and service
  • Team Leaders — Honoring those who coordinated volunteer crews
  • New Volunteer Recognition — Welcoming first-time Pride volunteers
  • Milestone Recognition — Celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20+ years of service
  • Special Recognition Awards — For volunteers who went above and beyond

All Pride 2026 volunteers are invited to attend and celebrate together.

Reflection & Looking Forward

A time to reflect on Pride 2026 and begin planning for Pride 2027:

  • Highlights Reel — Photos and videos from Pride Week
  • By the Numbers — Sharing attendance, volunteer hours, funds raised, and impact metrics
  • Community Voices — Testimonials from attendees, partners, and participants
  • Lessons Learned — What worked, what we're improving for next year

Why This Event Matters

Gratitude & Recognition

Pride is made possible by thousands of people—volunteers, partners, sponsors, and community organizations. This event ensures we properly thank and honor everyone who contributed.

Community Investment

The Community Partners Program distributes hundreds of thousands of dollars to local LGBTQ+ organizations. This celebration publicly recognizes that Pride's impact extends far beyond one weekend in June.

Continuous Movement

By closing one Pride cycle and beginning to plan the next, we demonstrate that Pride is a year-round commitment to LGBTQ+ liberation, not just a single weekend celebration.

Event details including date, location, and RSVP information will be announced in summer 2026.
