The tree script lets the user draw a line, which is then tranformed into a tree by recursively adding the same line, changing size and angle and adding random variations.
This script is now included in the Examples/Tools folder in the Scriptographer package.
Hi. I installed Scriptographer using the forum's instructions (I'm using CS2 by the way.), but nothing seems to work.
When run (execute) the tree script (the one I was after) it doesn't produce anything...
Can you publish a small tutorial on how to use the scripts? Or at least help me get started and I'll be more than glad to write you the tutorials...
Cheers,
Pedro
Tutorials are on the way, but as this is a spare time project, it might take some more days.
Until then, have a look at this screencast to get an overview over the interactive tools.
Uau! It really works great!
The screencast showed it all working. If you can manage to caption it as Simon said,... there would be no need for a more extensive tutorial.
I must be missing something still. I'm running Illustrator 10 and my I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.7. Double clicking opens tree.js in Dreamweaver. How do I set it up to work through Illustrator? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks!
Same problem, the .js is launching Dw. I'm on PC.
copy the file into your 'scriptographer scripts' folder....
