this is the Sg implementation of the super shape formula found here:
http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~pbourke/curves/supershape/
the code is l'bit dirt style, but it produces so beautiful results that
i uploaded it here.
hope that i will find some time to upload a cleaner version in the near future.

This is great, but it would be awesome to be able to start with a shape that I have drawn myself.
cool
(haven't tried it yet...)
Here are some ideas for implementation:
- What about the possibility of having diferent shapes along the path? Could even be triggered by change of direction, mouse position along the axis, or even randomly.
- Rotation of the shapes used. Either between angles inputed by the user (ie, 0 at the beginning and 230 at end), defined by change of direction of the mouse, or depending on axis position or random.
- Regular or random intervals, along the path. (in the image they seem irregular)
Ok, ok, I know its a lot to ask. But these are only ideas, not requests.
Nevertheless it would be great if it was implemented :)
