This script replaces all selected items with the symbol selected in the Symbols panel.
In my trials the replaced symbol was vertically flipped. You can edit the symbol to counteract this, or maybe another user knows how to fix this in the script.
HI. I was thrilled I found this wonderful script. However, I'm getting an error message in CS6:
Error 22:
Pallette does not have a constructor.
Line: 24
- > var palette = new Palette('Symbol Replace', components);
Thanks.
Hi. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Scriptographer is not compatible with CS6 yet: http://scriptographer.org/forum/help/illu-cs6/?pos=0#Post-4696. If you’re able to try with CS5 or older do that, and let me know if you still get an error there.
HELLOW MAN, I TRY WITH CS5 AND IT RUNS, BUT IT CAN'T REPLACE BY A IMAGE... CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?....
I SEE A TUTORIAL FROM YOUTUBE:

IT'S VERY POWERFULL SCRIPT, GREAT WORK
Hi
My script is completely unrelated to the one in that YouTube video. Mine simply replaces any selected item with the symbol selected in the symbols palette. If you make a symbol out of an image you can use that, but my script doesn’t source images from Flickr like the one in the video.
I hope that makes sense.
