css class applied to division

Has anyone found a way to set a cssclass to a RB defined division (like we can for RB links). I know divs can be defined and classed with html but I am trying to keep as much as possible to native methods.

My trial and error approach thus far tells me you need an object (#handle) to apply a class. I've been trying unsuccessfully to assign a cssclass to images (example img.z1, or img.op25) to assign z orders and/or opacity. The best I can do is wrap the image in a container, then assign the property to that container using cssID.
I'm really interested in seeing how others with more expertise respond to Mike's query.

You have done a V.good job on the CSS tutorial. The current css methods available are great for good looking RB apps but I am having problems getting around external links without using html anchors. I need (want?) to use RB type link statements to connect to an external link without having to click on a html anchor link! Using javascript with RB links has some strange effects.

Janet, that is correct. You cannot give an image a css class by itself.
You must wrap it in a division or a table cell then give that container a class.

<div class="animage">mypic.jpg</div>

You can give the image a "title" and a "name" but not a class.
