ResourcesRoot$

Quote from the helpfile: "Each Run BASIC program has access to the following global variables:
.
.
ResourcesRoot$
.
."

Does that mean that each published project can set its own ResourcesRoot$ global variable? Such that one project uses the default public folder and another project uses a path to a ramdisk? Or is it fixed for all projects by the preferences setting? I suspect the latter but would be happy to hear otherwise. ;D

ResourcesRoot$ tells your program where the Run BASIC server is managing your projects. It is not a per-program value.
