This would need the use of a combo box, I think.

This is truly a capability of a combo box, not a list box.

Thanks Stefan. Does this mean RunBasic cannot provide the 2 pieces of functionality I need ?

Only for 50%, see ComboBox and ListBox Question for the solution with selecting by typing the first character.

For adding a new value, you need to use a different approach.
