I recently wrote a manufacturing system. It's huge..
I decided to pirate some of the stuff and create a free cut down Inventory system.

I'm asking for any suggestions/help before I do it. I wanted to keep it simple with only the following. However it can go anywhere depending on request.
1. Item inventory
2. Company / Vendor / Shippers
3. Customers
4. Price History
5. User
6. Menu master. Lets you define the User / Menu interface
7. System. Describes what systems are available..
8. User Security - Tells what systems they can see and what systems they can maintain.
9. Purchase Order
10. Shipping order
11. POS - Not sure anyone cares here
12. Accounting
13. Sales

As you can see, not much to it. Should have the item inventory, PO, and master file maintenance done in a few days..
Will post demo URL, hopefully by Friday.. Stay tuned.

Have a great day..

Yes in RB and it's about 90% complete. But it's in a wait state waiting for some definitions on some issues. So in the meantime Ill do the inventory system.

Actually after looking at the inventory system I can't use much of the original system, so it's a rewrite. However once you layout the DB, you simply use the program generator and it generates over 95% of the code. So you can put up most system in a few days.

After looking at this system, it looks like it will take a day. Hopefully I can get to it today or tomorrow.

xMas is eating more time than I thought. But xMas comes first for me anyway.

I did get a lot of it done.

This project wouldn't be possible without the new RUN command.
Thanks for the effort on that everyone.

Go here for docs and download..
www.dkokenge.com/Rbinv/

It has not been fully tested so you may get errors.
Check back and look at the "Status" link for any updates and new features.

Have fun...
Merry Christmas everyone..

If Dan has not kept a copy
with his permission I can send you a copy of RBinv.zip
pm me with your email

Hi Metro, How are things down under.??

Sure you can send it. I no longer have a copy..

I have no idea what kind of shape it's in.
I think in Run Basic it was a small system with only 20 or so programs.
And I believe almost all the programs were generated using RBgen?

G'day

Hi Metro, How are things down under.??

G'Day Dan

all good down here, unless of course we catch the "financial flue" you all are getting in the rest of the world then that might change things a bit.

regards
