Happens to be one of my favoriate. I love their triggers.
But I can live without it. Not a big deal.

Rather see time on memory leaks, and stuff like lof() fail on large files etc..
Just my personal pref. I'll be happy with anything...

The memory leaks are related to using the RUN statement?

Do you have a simple example of LOF() not working properly? I did a quick search here and didn't see a previous mention.

I am shooting for a first RB2 alpha release in the next few days.

Keep in mind this is an alpha release, which means that not all features are implemented and it will have bugs.

Once the intended features are in we will switch to beta releases, and then to release candidates, and then to release.

My website was created in the mid 2000s. Unfortunately I lost the code somehow.

Any code I share on this forum is released to the public domain and may be used freely any way you like unless for some reason I specifically indicate otherwise in the post.

I know this has nothing to do with RB2. It an old issue that has never worked. However has anyone been able to UPLOAD a image from a run child program. A program with UPLOAD works as a parent. But run it from a parent and it quits working. It appears The upload widget is tied to the main program context.
I have a menu program that runs all the project programs based on the users security. Basically all my programs are child except the menu program.
We have all probably tried to click a parent UPLOAD from a button in the child. Trying to do a button with on-click in the child that clicks a UPLOAD in the parent is a mess.

Hopefully this works in RB2.

Thanks for the help.

Hey there. I haven't fixed anything like that as far as I can remember, but I will definitely work to fix any such known issues. :)

If I remember right, the instructions I once saw on this forum for setting up the server looked fairly easy to follow. At that time I was focusing on trying to figure out if I could use Run BASIC for what I wanted to do, and I never ended up getting the pro version. Mostly because Linux dropped support for 32 bit compatibility on 64 bit machines.

I'm hoping that once the new version is out this kind of information will again begin to flow on the forum.

What are you trying to do?

Just to be clear there is no Pro version like there is in Liberty BASIC. There is free, and paid (or registered). The paid version adds password security so that the server can be outward facing.

Generate RunBasic code to add,change,delete,list,sort,search.
Made a lot of changes to RBgen.

Some additions include; db Tables can have a image Id. You can upload media including movies, music, html, photos and others. you can tile your db table and show a 5across by n nown images. The db table updated from your upload.
It uses imageMagic to dynamically create thumb images for quicker display in grids.
Fields names ending in email will validate entered emails on the client side before being sent to the server.
Fields names ending in url will validate entered urls on the client side before being sent to the server.
Fixed a few bugs.
