I was avoiding using my ISP info in my RB code because I'd like to switch my ISP in march, and for privacy reasons as well. I'd still like to use Google or AOL for this however. Maybe when I have closer a look at the SendEmail program that Votan posted in another thread I might still be able to do that..

If you already have an account at Google, Yahoo! or the like, you just need to use the information provided for accessing your mails from a mail client over POP3.

The SendEmail utility works with the same information as used with RB's internal SMTP capability.

I don't remember but I think I already tried that experiment. Now that I'm more comfortable with RB's SMTP capabilities I'll give it another shot. I read on about.com that if you use AOL's SMTP server, it automaticaly puts a copy of all emails in your inbox. I also read that you have to use a non standard port, 587 I think..?

The non standard ports are used with SSL, which is not supported by RB's SMTP feature, I think.
You will have to try.
I know, that Yahoo! suggests to use SSL, but works without on the standard ports too.
