Dear Percy Grainger Society Members and Guests,
As our 2026 Annual Members’ Meeting approaches, we would like to thank you for your continued support of and engagement with the Percy Grainger Society. Over the past year, we have gained significant momentum in our work, with successful programs, increased donations and grants, and the involvement of many new volunteers. This period of growth is something we can all take pride in, and it reflects the vital role our members and volunteers continue to play.
We hope you will be able to join us for this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting, which will take place shortly after Percy Grainger’s birthday on Saturday, July 11 at 4:00 pm Eastern Time (9:00 pm BST, 6:00 am AEST, July 12). The meeting will be recorded and made available in the members’ section of our website for those unable to attend live.
The meeting will include discussion of the following key topics:
- Review of activities in 2025–26, including our new GlossGlide initiative
- New programs and initiatives for 2026–27, from our new Strategic Plan
- Introduction of "Inventing Percy Grainger", our three-part virtual program
- A review of the Percy Grainger Symposium at Brigham Young University
- Updates on the capital grant supporting work on the Grainger House
- Plans for an expanded Giving Tuesday campaign, including efforts to restore Percy’s room and undertake additional second-floor improvements
- Opportunities for member participation and engagement
We anticipate the meeting will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
