Sorry, this is taking a while...
The city is peaceful and quieter than many urban destinations, making it a relaxing environment for travelers or residents. Its location near the coast provides easy access to beaches, and the architecture adds visual interest and a sense of charm. Locals are generally friendly, and the city offers plenty in terms of dining and recreational activities. These features make it attractive for visitors looking for a restful yet culturally enriched experience. However, many reviews consistently point out aggressive behavior from panhandlers and street vendors, especially toward foreigners. This can detract from the experience, especially when trying to relax in public spaces or cafes. Additionally, the language barrier can be a challenge for those who do not speak French or Arabic, limiting ease of communication and access to services. Overall, the city has much to offer but may require preparation to navigate some of the social dynamics effectively.

Very quiet city, beautiful architecture and near the ocean and beaches. People are really nice, and there are a lot of restaurants & activities to choose from. It's easier if you speak french or arabic. Don't recommend if you don't want to learn these languages.
there is a lot of harassment of foreigners by pan handlers and scammers. You can't sit in a cafe without numerous people persistently trying to sell you something or outright begging. They come in waves, the time it takes to drink a single espresso you'll have to fend off a minimum of 3 different people trying to sell the same thing.

Values shown are estimated visits by traveling remote workers based on the total amount of trips logged by Nomads.com members. Visits to a place are only counted once per year per user, even if they visit more in that year. Visits are also normalized by overall trips added per month on the site, so if site usage goes up or down it does not affect trends. Not all digital nomads are on Nomads.com, and not all Nomads.com members log their trips. So the data is only indicative.

The chart below shows visitors by nationality normalized for population size. This means we take all trips logged on Nomads.com, check which country of origin the user is from, then divide that total visit count by the country of origin's population. If we didn't, it'd just show the big countries like US, Brazil and India always on top. Instead, this shows which nationalities worldwide proportionally visit more or less, which is more useful.
