A great time in London. I set up one of the first co-working spaces in London at that time. I think there were only 6 at the time. Found an office in Soho, bought some desks and chairs from IKEA, advertised on Gumtree and started making a little bit of money on top of having a desk for myself. It later turned out that the landlord I was renting from, was renting from another landlord who was subletting the building illegally and not paying his rent to the actual owners of the building. After 18 months we all got chucked out. It was a great time when the tech scene in London was tiny and everyone knew each other.
