Lived in multiple places before renting an apartment here as homebase. Learning some local phrases and bowing really helps with interactions. Locals are very friendly here.
Stop by HaLong Bay. Had a tour guide Minh who was freelancer and photographer. She has travelled many places in Vietnam. I enjoyed Hanoi Social Club and Bonjour Cafe.
Tour guide was a freethinker. The city looked like it had alot of woke expats and this might be the place to settle. There is a Citadel which I toyed of the idea making the Melioristic Society here.
Saw the MidAutumn Festival and full moon. Met Arthur from Australia.
First time traveling internationally since COVID started. Interesting city and vibe.
