We went to the Notre Dame church and the Roman history museum. Lon is an attractive city, but we didn't see much of it. We experienced a medical emergency that required "repatriation" after a hospital stay. We were so glad we had purchased an excellent travel insurance policy.
We stopped here for one night on our way from Lisbon to Lyon.
We enjoyed New Year's Eve here, after a fancy dinner, watchin the fireworks over the city. We did a lot of walking here. It's hilly, and the sidewalks are paved in slippery tiles. Hubby wasn't well, so we went to the ER, where he got an X-ray and was prescribed medication for his respiratory infection. I visited museums and other sites by myself while he rested.
We always enjoy a visit to Sagrada Familia. This is a very picturesque city for walking.

Another day trip. We had fun hiking up and down the road, and using the cable car. We saw many of the famous macaques.

Hoping for warmer weather, but it was cold. We had a rental car and drove to some of the nearby little hill towns.

Having been here in summer, we wanted to try winter. It was cold! We had a traditional Christmas feast at a restaurant with our Swedish friends
This was the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. Took an 8 hour train trip from Oslo to Bergen, then back the next day by boat through a fjord, and train.
An interesting city. We had dinner with a friend who lives here. We went to the Fram Museum. It was quite cold and damp. I bought gloves and scarf at the Christmas market. We really liked the Vigeland sculpture park.
We walked here from Windsor Castle.
We took a day trip while we were staying in London.
